Steps off Main Street at the corner of 7th and Yampa, our shop sits just across from the river that defines Steamboat Springs. We guide anglers on the Yampa River and surrounding waters, providing all necessary equipment including waders, boots, rods, reels, and flies. Our guides help you catch Rainbows, Browns, Cutthroats, Brookies, and Whitefish, ensuring a successful day on the water. We limit groups to three people per guide, though we recommend two guides for novices seeking a more personalized experience. Full-day excursions include lunches prepared with our partners at Winona’s Restaurant and Bakery, while half-day trips can add a lunch for $13. Our staff is ready to help you purchase a one-day fishing license, which costs $17.35 for anyone 16 and older. We operate year-round, offering winter gear like warm jackets and polarized sunglasses alongside summer essentials such as lightweight long-sleeve shirts. Our shop stocks all the gear you might need, so you can arrive with just your Social Security number and ID. We fish in all weather conditions, as long as it is safe to be on the water.
