Steamboat Springs Community Center

The Steamboat Springs Community Center provides flexible rental space for events, featuring distinct rooms such as the American Legion Room and kitchen facilities. The American Legion Room accommodates up to 175 guests in theatre style or 85 in round table seating, while the combined East and West Sides offer 350 seats for larger gatherings. Equipment provided at no charge includes 20 round tables, two rectangular tables, 200 chairs, a podium, and two projection screens. The East Room contains a piano that cannot be moved. Kitchen rentals include access to a refrigerator, oven, range, small freezer, microwave, commercial dishwasher, and four warming trays. Renters are responsible for cleaning, which involves returning furniture to its original location, emptying trash receptacles, and using supplies from the janitorial closet. A certificate of insurance is required for public events, and alcohol service is permitted with prior approval from the City Clerk's office. Keys are picked up at the Parks & Recreation Office at 245 Howelsen Parkway, with specific drop-off times depending on the day of the event.
