The Avon

Built in 1904 and updated through the 70s, The Avon serves as Silverton’s historic hotel and bar. We offer 14 unique guestrooms designed for comfort after adventures in the San Juan Mountains, from powder turns on Silverton Mountain to rides on the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railway. Our main floor lounge invites guests to relax with craft cocktails, while our basement houses the Rock Room, a music venue hosting live events in this century-old space.
