The Barley Tap & Bar

Thirty-one rotating beer taps and eight wine taps keep the drink list changing almost daily at The Barley Tap & Bar, a downtown Steamboat Springs destination known for libations handcrafted right here in Colorado. Located inside Old Town Square, this 21+ venue specializes in unique and hard-to-find craft beers from local heavyweights like Storm Peak Brewery and Mountain Tap Brewery, alongside spirits from Mythology Distillery. The menu features craft cocktails made with fresh ingredients, including signature pours like the Barley Marg and the Mule, plus a snack selection where most items are vegetarian or vegan-friendly. While we don’t serve full meals, guests are welcome to bring in takeout from nearby restaurants to pair with their pint. Happy Hour runs Monday through Saturday from 5 PM to 7 PM, and all day on Sundays, offering $6 beers, $8 wines, and $9 well drinks. The space hosts a variety of events, from tap takeovers to live music and comedy nights, creating a lively environment for both evening socializers and afternoon workers.
