The Hive DGO

Our skatepark, built by the community for rippers of all skill levels, anchors our mission to support under-resourced and underrepresented youth in Durango. Located at 1175 Camino Del Rio, we operate as a youth-centered community hub that fosters inclusivity, support, and a deep sense of belonging. We provide a range of programs designed to help young people reach their full potential through creative expression and guidance. After-school programs include skateboard lessons and art classes, while our music venue hosts all-age, sober shows in a dedicated space just steps away from the main facility. We also run a Community Food Pantry and organize initiatives like Game Nights and Movie Nights to keep youth engaged. Our Youth Advisory Board meets every other Thursday from 4pm to 5:30pm, giving teens a direct voice in shaping their community. Whether it is open skate sessions or structured lessons throughout the year, we strive to create a brave and inclusive space where every young person can grow, learn, and thrive. We believe that with the right support, our youth can embrace their identity and define their future.
