The Lucky Horseshoe

Adjacent to the Stone House Inn in the historic cow town of Crawford, The Lucky Horseshoe operates as both a retail destination and the valley’s only staffed visitor center. The shop, run by innkeepers Nathan and Lara, features a mini record store stocked with over 3,000 vintage vinyls spanning rock, jazz, folk, country, and soul, alongside new pressings of classic titles. Shoppers browse fair trade and handmade gifts, jewelry, antiques, and curiosities, or grab homemade fudge and baked goods for a quick bite on the street-side patio. Former National Park Service Ranger Nathan and 30-year Chamber of Commerce volunteer Lara provide wayfinding assistance and local insights to visitors navigating the North Fork Valley. The business is open from May through October, Thursday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with off-season access available by appointment.
