Western Outdoor Adventures, Llc

Hunting elk, mule deer, pronghorn, black bear, and mountain lion defines the work at Western Outdoor Adventures, LLC, an outfitter based in Meeker, Colorado. Operating out of the White River Valley, we manage several thousand acres of hunting land across Game Management Units 11, 33, 42, 52, and 421. Our terrain spans from deep dark timber and open meadows to river bottoms with willows, featuring rolling hills, sage brush, and juniper pinion trees. Elevations range from 6,500 to 10,000 feet, offering diverse conditions for both guided and do-it-yourself hunts. We provide accommodations in wall tents, cabins, or motels, located roughly 10 to 120 minutes from our primary hunting properties. Our team consists of experienced local guides who know the area intimately, ensuring clients get close to their target species. We are bonded and insured, holding Outfitter License #2984. In addition to our core operations in Meeker, we also offer hunts in Unit 421 out of Mesa, Colorado, and Unit 52 out of Cedaredge. Some of our leases neighbor public lands, allowing us to utilize special permits from the US Bureau of Land Management and the US Forest Service to recover animals when necessary. We are currently booking for the 2025, 2026, and 2027 seasons.
