Nine rustic yet comfortable cabins sit at the outer edge of Lake City, offering a quiet retreat within walking distance of downtown galleries, restaurants, and parks. These units range from studios to spacious two-bedroom layouts, each equipped with fully equipped kitchens, smart TVs, and free Starlink WiFi. We provide free private on-site parking and welcome your four-legged companions, making this a true home away from home for families and solo adventurers alike. Our location places you directly on the Alpine Loop, granting immediate access to fishing, kayaking, biking, and hiking trails. Off-road enthusiasts can ride their 4-wheelers straight from the cabin to the trailhead during the season, which runs from the Friday before Father's Day through September 30th. A propane grill is available for use during summer burn bans when charcoal grills and fire pits may be restricted. We purchased this complex in September 2021, bringing our combined experience as a retired educator and a builder to ensure every mattress, linen, and appliance is in perfect working order. Chasing the high peaks of the San Juan Mountains or slowing down to enjoy the remote beauty of the lower 48’s most distant town, we are here to make your stay comfortable and memorable.
