Latellya Smith founded Woodlake RV Park nearly 50 years ago with a simple goal: create a place where families could relax by the river and enjoy the outdoors without feeling crowded. That philosophy guides the property today, offering some of the most spacious and unhurried sites in the Lake City region along the Lake Fork River. The park provides a variety of lodging options, including fully equipped cabins complete with utensils, dishes, and appliances, as well as bunkhouses for larger groups. RV campers can choose from sites featuring full hookups and 30-50 amp services, while tent campers have their own designated areas. Each site includes a fire ring and picnic table, allowing guests to enjoy the San Juan Mountains setting directly from their camp. Amenities on-site include clean restrooms, showers, and laundry rooms, alongside free Sky-link WiFi and ample parking. The property welcomes groups for reunions, weddings, and meetings, and features a 24-hour front desk for guest assistance. Friendly management and staff, including long-time employee Gordon, are known for helping guests with RV parking and providing local recommendations.
