Holiday Marketplace Of Art

The Montrose Center for Arts proudly presents its 2nd annual The Holiday Marketplace of Art. Western Colorado artists will brighten the season with their offerings of fine art pieces for the holidays, making perfect gifts for family and friends. The exhibit will run from November 10 through January 8 during regular gallery hours 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesdays – Saturdays.

The Cottonwood and Ponderosa Rooms will open on November 10 with amazing gifts, from jewelry to pottery, from cards to paintings, and so much more. Then on November 17, the Main Gallery will showcase a vast array of 12 x 12 paintings for our annual fundraiser.

MCA invites you to stop by our 2nd Thursday receptions on November 12 and December 10, 5 – 7 p.m. at MCA, located at 205 E. Main Street in Montrose. Enjoy seasonal treats and beverages, explore the gallery, and shops for those special holiday gifts.

A New Tradition – MCA Holiday Cards

Congratulations to Kim Keller and Brian Webber whose artwork submissions were selected for our first edition of MCA Holiday Cards. They’ve donated their designs to MCA and the cards will go on sale at the Holiday Marketplace in mid-November. All proceeds from the cards will go to the Art Center.

Grand Junction mixed media artist Kim Keller recently relocated to the Western Slope from Pennsylvania. The move has inspired her to explore new subject matter and techniques. Her original design was composed of fabric and paper.

Brian Webber, who has frequently exhibited at MCA, enjoys the subtle softness watercolors allow him when he expresses a moment in time. He is particularly motivated by the impact of morning light as it affects the subject matter.

The cards will go on sale in 6-card packets (three of each design) and in individually wrapped single cards for your holiday giving. Watch for this limited 2026 edition release at MCA beginning Nov. 10 at the Holiday Marketplace of Art.
