B. ELECTION ANNOUNCEMENT: Ballots begin being mailed on Monday, March 16,
2026.

C. XCEL ENERGY DOWNTOWN PROJECT - Construction on the Downtown Electric
Project is scheduled to begin soon. This project is part of a planned upgrade to the
underground electrical infrastructure serving the downtown area and includes directional
boring and underground electrical installation.

VII. TOWN MANAGER REPORT

A. American Leak Detection will be doing a survey of our entire domestic water system.
Correlators are installed overnight to collect data and then try to pinpoint water leaks that
have not surfaced, beginning March 6, 2026.

B. "Simon from Limon" will be performing our annual sewer collection system
maintenance (swabbing and jetting) primarily on the South side of Highway 6 beginning
March 9, 2026.

IX. NEW BUSINESS

A. ORDINANCE 2026-03 – Adoption of the Colorado Wildfire Resiliency Code –
FIRST READING and Order to Publish
The Board of Trustees will set the public hearing date for Ordinance 2026-03 and order
the Town Clerk to publish all necessary notifications in accordance with Colorado
Revised Statutes.

    Ordinance 2026-03 for Tuesday, March 24, 2026, and order the Town Clerk to

B. Kluge Avenue Asphalt Restoration
The Board of Trustees will consider directing the Town Manager to enter into a contract
with Blackstone Pavement Preservation for Kluge Avenue Asphalt Restoration

C. ORDINANCE 2026-04 – A Text Amendment to the Palisade Municipal Code
Regarding the Tourism Advisory Commission
The Board of Trustees will consider Ordinance 2026-04, amending the Palisade
Municipal Code regarding the Tourism Advisory Commission, clarifying composition.

3.Decision: Motion, Second, and Rollcall Vote to: Approve or deny Ordinance
2026-04, amending the Palisade Municipal Code regarding the Tourism
Advisory Commission, clarifying composition.

your name and address. Neither the Board of Trustees nor staff will respond to comments at this
time. The Board may direct staff to look into specific comments to bring back as an Agenda item
at a future meeting; however, the Board reserves the right to clarify information from comments
that are factually incorrect.
All emails sent to the Town Clerk for public comment will be forwarded to the Board of Trustees.
Any member of the public who wishes to have a statement or email read to the Board of Trustees
is required to appear in person and make said statements to the Board directly.
