A. PALISADE SUNDAY FARMERS MARKET Every Sunday in downtown Palisade from 9:00
am – 1:00 pm through October 4, 2026.
B. PALISADE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION is looking for new
Commissioners for terms ending February 2027 and terms ending February 2029. Letters of
interest will be accepted until Tuesday, July 7, 2026. For more information, please call (970)

C. REMINDER: FIREWORKS NOT ALLOWED During this time of extreme drought, please
remember that in accordance with Palisade Municipal Code Sec. 10-115, “It is illegal to possess,
store, sell or use any and all fireworks within the Town limits of the Town.”
D. COLORADO LAVENDER FESTIVAL is June 26 – 28, 2026, with the festival in Riverbend
Park on Saturday, June 27, 2026, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Visit https://coloradolavender.org/annual-

E. COMMUNITY MEET & GREET: Introducing K9 Riot, Palisade Police Department’s
newest Officer! Come meet Riot at the Palisade gymnasium (711 Iowa Avenue) on July 24,
2026, at 6:00 pm to ask questions about the K9 program and see him demonstrate his detection
skills.

F. PALISADE TOWN GROUCH: The Palisade Lions Club is hosting its 41
st
annual Town
Grouch Contest. Every year, the Palisade Lions Club helps the community select its most
prestigious representative, the Town Grouch!
This year, voting begins June 6th with the announcement at Bluegrass Festival and ends with the
“Crowning” of the new Grouch at the Peach Fest Ice Cream Social on Thursday, August 14,
2026, by last year’s Grouch.

boardroom doors. Please keep comments to 3 MINUTES OR LESS and state your name and
address. Neither the Board of Trustees nor staff will respond to comments at this time. The Board may
direct staff to look into specific comments to bring back as an Agenda item at a future meeting; however,
the Board reserves the right to clarify information from comments that are factually incorrect.
All emails sent to the Town Clerk for public comment will be forwarded to the Board of Trustees. Any
member of the public who wishes to have a statement or email read to the Board of Trustees is required
to appear in person and make said statements to the Board directly.
