B. PALISADE TOWN GROUCH: The Palisade Lions Club is hosting its 41

annual Town
Grouch Contest. Nomination forms are available on the Palisade Lions Club Facebook page.

C. PALISADE PEACH DAYS

  1. ICE CREAM SOCIAL will be in downtown Palisade on Thursday, August 13, 2026,
    from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm.

  2. LION’S CLUB PANCAKE BREAKFAST will be in Veterans Memorial Park on
    Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 8:00 am – 11:00 am.

  3. PALISADE PEACH DAYS – JUST PEACHY PARADE AND PEACHY 5K &
    10K RUN will be Saturday, August 15, 2026. The 5k/10k Run begins at 8:30 am, with

D. ACCEPTING LETTERS OF INTEREST FOR TOURISM ADVISORY COMMISSION

The Town of Palisade is soliciting letters of interest from eligible citizens wishing to serve on the
Tourism Advisory Commission. Interested parties should submit a letter of interest in person to
175 E 3rd Street, Palisade, CO 81526, by mail to P.O. Box 128, Palisade, CO 81526, or via email
to [email protected]. Letters will be accepted until Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at
4:30 pm.

IX. NEW BUSINESS

A. Memorandum of Understanding with the Federal Bureau of Investigation
The Board of Trustees will consider directing the Mayor to enter into a Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) and Cost Reimbursement Agreement with the Federal Bureau of
Investigation (FBI) to partner with the Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Violent Crime Task Force.

C. RESOLUTION 2026-13 – Intergovernmental agreement (IGA) with Mesa County for
November 3, 2026, Coordinated Election
The Board of Trustees will consider RESOLUTION 2026-13 directing the Mayor to enter into an
Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with Mesa County for a Coordinated Election on November
3, 2026.

address. Neither the Board of Trustees nor staff will respond to comments at this time. The Board may
direct staff to look into specific comments to bring back as an Agenda item at a future meeting; however,
the Board reserves the right to clarify information from comments that are factually incorrect.

All emails sent to the Town Clerk for public comment will be forwarded to the Board of Trustees. Any
member of the public who wishes to have a statement or email read to the Board of Trustees is required
to appear in person and make said statements to the Board directly.
