About
Andy Wants Some Candy is an 85-foot (26 m) sport climbing route located in Rifle Arch, just north of Rifle, Colorado. The route grades 5.10a and is situated on the sandstone slabs of the Grand Hogback. It is bolted with 10 bolts and a 2-bolt anchor. The climb begins between two white water streaks, leading to the right-hand streak where climbers use wide feet and delicate moves to reach a mono-pocket. From there, the route pulls over a small overlap. The area offers parking and is pet friendly. Climbing in Rifle Arch generally features high-quality sandstone with black and brown varnish, though rock quality can vary. The region sees less traffic than Rifle Mountain Park proper.
