Aspen Alley

Aspen Alley is a popular, fast downhill mountain biking singletrack located in Breckenridge, Colorado. The trail is known for its smooth, flowy berms and dense aspen groves, offering scenic views that peak during fall foliage season. It is primarily a point-to-point or out-and-back route starting from the Boreas Pass winter trailhead. Riders descend past a gate to the singletrack on the west side of the road, which terminates at a gravel driveway on Boreas Pass Road. The trail is moderately challenging and tends to be crowded, particularly with hikers and other bikers during peak seasons. Users are advised to watch for uphill traffic and consider visiting on weekday mornings for a quieter experience. The trail is accessible from late spring through October, depending on snow conditions. Dogs are permitted. Alternative access points include the Breckenridge Ice Rink lot or utilizing Illinois Gulch Road to shortcut the climb back to the trailhead.
