Aspen Cross Country Center

The Aspen Cross Country Center serves as the primary hub for the Aspen/Snowmass Nordic Trail System, located at the Aspen Public Golf Course just west of Aspen off Highway 82. It is the only full-service cross-country ski and snowshoe center in Aspen, owned and operated by Ute Mountaineer. The facility provides access to a network of over 60 kilometers of free trails connecting Aspen, Snowmass Village, and Basalt. Amenities include a retail shop, ski school for lessons, equipment rentals, a lounge with hot drinks and snacks, lockers, restrooms, and expert ski tuning services. The center is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with specific hours varying slightly by season. Trails are rated moderate and are accessible from November through April, depending on snow conditions. Parking is available on-site.
