About
The Aspen FIFTY - 2019 Course is a difficult, large-loop mountain biking route in Aspen, Colorado. The trail spans 77.1 kilometers with an elevation gain of approximately 3050 feet. It begins and ends at Koch Park near downtown Aspen, with event parking located north of Gillespie Street between 3rd and 5th Streets. The course features a mix of singletrack, doubletrack, paved paths, and dirt roads. Riders encounter technical sections alongside smoother terrain, including climbs up Hummingbird Trail and descents via the Rio Grande Trail. The trail is open from April through October. Pets are allowed, and e-bikes are permitted. The route is free to use and does not require a permit.
