The Aspen FIFTY - 50K Course is a mountain biking route located in Aspen, Colorado, on the Western Slope. It serves as a shorter alternative to the full 50-mile Aspen FIFTY race, covering approximately 31 miles. The course is classified as difficult and typically runs from April through October. The route begins on Upper River Road, passing the Woody Creek Tavern, before turning onto Smith Hill Way and entering the Jaffee Park parking lot. From there, riders climb a path to the Rio Grande Trail, continuing to Stein Park for the official finish line. The return to the start involves paved bike paths, including Cemetery Lane and the Marolt Open Space path, crossing under Highway 82. The elevation gain is listed as 3,051 feet, with a base elevation of 7,890 feet. Parking is available at the start and finish locations. The trail allows pets. The event benefits the Roaring Fork Mountain Bike Association.
