About

This route combines the Cinch, Corkscrew, and Aspen Glade trails in the Beaver Creek ski area near Avon, Colorado. The ride begins with a steep, mellow climb up the resort mountain, primarily on doubletrack and service roads, gaining nearly 2,000 feet of elevation. Riders pass open viewpoints of the valley before reaching the Spruce Saddle Lodge area. From there, the route transitions to a long, fast descent on narrow singletrack. The trail crosses Cinch and Dally multiple times before ending at Aspen Glade, which is a multi-use trail where riders must watch for hiking families. The entire loop is approximately 8 miles long and typically takes about 3 hours to complete. The trail is rated difficult and is accessible from April through October. Parking is available at the trailhead, and pets are allowed. The area is served by the Centennial lift, and while Corkscrew is bike-only, Aspen Glade is multi-use.
