Beta.1 is a V0 boulder located in the Alpha-Beta-Gamma-Delta Block within Ute Valley Park, Colorado Springs. The formation stands 12 feet (4 meters) high and features a right arête with crimps. The first ascent was completed by NH. Climbers follow the crimps up the right arête, with a SDS variation available that starts on a large hold and uses only crimps. The route is protected by pads. The park has reopened following flood damage, though climbers are advised to evaluate rock integrity for safety. Parking is available on site and pets are permitted. The area offers moderate difficulty, suitable for climbers with some experience.
