The Blunt Arete is a moderate rock climbing destination located near Ouray, CO, with an elevation of 7222 feet. Climbers can expect a 4-hour outing, and the route is accessible year-round, from January through December. The climbing area features a distinct arete, or narrow ridge, and climbers should be prepared for a variety of terrain and potential snow and ice in winter months. Parking is available at the site, and climbers are allowed to bring their pets along.
