About
Burning Rubber is a 110-foot limestone sport climb located on the Puoux crag in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The route begins by ascending the 'Youth Warm-up' to a large jug ledge, skipping the bolt there to clip right. The climb then moves into a technical kneebar crux, followed by a rightward-trending rail feature leading to crimpy, edge-heavy terrain rated around 12a. The area is privately owned and requires climbers to download and submit a waiver to the property manager, Ken Headrick, via email before climbing. Parking is available on-site, and pets are permitted. The route is accessible year-round.
