Canine is a 50-foot sport climbing route located at Canine Wall in Rifle Mountain Park, near Rifle, Colorado. The wall is north-facing and shaded for much of the day, offering relief from summer heat. The approach involves a short walk through high desert terrain to stairs made of railroad ties, which lead directly to the base. Parking is available in a large pullout across the road from the adjacent Feline wall. The route itself is rated 5.9 and begins with technical sidepull moves requiring balance, then enters a long corner that requires stemming and jamming. The line continues between the corner, an arete, and a crack to the right. Protection consists of nine bolts and a secure anchor at the top. The rock is described as clean gray limestone or sandstone, providing reliable friction. Climbers can access the area year-round. The route is suitable for single-pitch climbing and is considered accessible to those with some sport climbing experience. Dogs are permitted in the park, making it a pet-friendly destination.
