About

Circular Semantics, also known as Justin's Route, is a sport climbing route located on the west face of Rotary Park in Ouray, Colorado. The route climbs past five bolts up a steep, overhanging wall characterized by orange and blue stripes. It is rated as difficult and is described as short, powerful, and requiring skill and physical endurance. Access begins on a ledge midway up the wall. Climbers can reach this ledge by scrambling via easy climbing or by ascending one of the easier adjacent routes to a two-bolt belay at the route's start. Belaying from the ledge is recommended to avoid rope drag issues associated with belaying from the ground. The route is equipped with rappel rings at the anchor for descent. Parking is available at the site, and pets are permitted. The elevation is 8,019 feet. While the route is accessible year-round, climbers should prepare for variable weather conditions and potential snow or ice during winter months.
