About
The Cliffline Trail is a moderate mountain biking route located near Montrose, Colorado, on the Western Slope. It is a singletrack trail that branches off the Shavano Loop doubletrack and climbs into the trees. The trail consists of rehabbed old doubletrack and is known for a mix of smooth sections and rugged terrain, including rocky outcroppings and dry washes. Elevation sits at 5,809 feet. The trail is accessible year-round, though it is primarily used from April through October. Parking is available at the trailhead, and pets are permitted. The trail is signed at the entrance and exit, but because it is less popular, some sections may be difficult to follow. It is a one-way climb that breaks off from the main loop system.
