Cobbett Campground sits on the Grand Mesa near Cedaredge at 10,273 feet, offering high-altitude forest camping adjacent to Cobbett Lake. The site features 42-foot spur lengths, with nearly all campsites shaded by spruce trees. Amenities include vault toilets, drinking water, picnic tables, and campfire rings. The campground operates from late spring through early fall, weather permitting, and accepts both first-come, first-served and reservable sites. Hiking trails and jeep roads provide access to the surrounding area, while the lake supports fishing for rainbow, brook, and cutthroat trout. The difficulty is rated moderate, and the site is pet-friendly.
