Cooch is a rock climbing destination in Rifle Mountain Park, located 30 minutes from the city of Rifle on Colorado's Western Slope. The site features limestone sport climbing routes that are generally rated difficult, with many falling in the 5.12 and higher grades. The rock is characterized as blocky, steep to slightly overhanging, and rich in pockets, crimps, and pinches. Climbers should expect long, complex endurance routes on large, flat holds.
