It is classified as difficult, featuring sport climbing routes that generally range from 5.12 to higher grades. The rock is limestone, specifically the Leadville formation, characterized by large flat holds, pockets, crimps, and pinches. The terrain varies from slightly overhanging to very steep. Parking is available on site, and the area permits pets. Climbing access extends year-round, with peak activity occurring from May through September when the site is fairly crowded. The location is accessible via Interstate 70 at exit 90.
