Cottonwood Grove Campground is a free, primitive site managed by the Bureau of Land Management along the Gunnison River in Delta, Colorado. The campground features six campsites situated among mature cottonwood trees, offering direct river access. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, shade structures, and a vault toilet. A boat ramp accommodates non-motorized watercraft, and an ADA-accessible fishing pier provides river access for visitors with mobility challenges. The site operates on a first-come, first-served basis with a maximum stay of seven days. It is open from May through September, though conditions vary. The drive involves a narrow dirt road, and the elevation is 5,096 feet.
