    About

Crown Mountain Park offers a moderate fall hiking experience, with trails that can be completed in approximately 2 hours. The park is accessible from September through November, making it an ideal destination for those seeking to enjoy the fall foliage. Visitors can expect to find parking and restrooms available, as well as pet-friendly trails, allowing them to bring their dogs along. The moderate difficulty of the trails suggests that hikers should be prepared for some elevation gain and variable trail conditions, but the scenic views and fall colors make the effort worthwhile.

Crown Mountain Park is the premier community park in the Roaring Fork Valley. One mile loop around the main park, trails down by the river & the dogs are allowed to be OFF-LEASH! Always something happening at the park including bike races, kids game including soccer and lacrosse & more! I absolutely love this park and visit it multiple times per week with my dogs!
