The rock quality varies, offering pocket and tufa-riddled stone on shorter walls like the Wasteland, as well as larger, flat holds and crimps on overhanging faces. Climbers should expect long, complex endurance routes that often feature smooth pockets and crimps. The area is accessible year-round, though it sees significant traffic on weekends from May through September. Parking is available on site, and the location is pet friendly. The elevation sits at 6,003 feet. While the rock can suffer from silt and moss in lower-angled sections, the primary walls provide consistent quality for experienced climbers seeking hard sport routes.
