About

Doc Holliday's Grave Trailhead leads to Linwood Cemetery in downtown Glenwood Springs, offering a short, moderate hike to the memorial marker of the famous dentist-turned-gunslinger. While Holliday’s exact burial spot is unknown, the trail ends at a memorial adorned with coins, playing cards, and shot glasses. The route also passes the grave of Harvey "Kid Curry" Logan. The trail is approximately 0.6 to 0.7 miles round trip with an elevation gain of roughly 200 feet, taking about 2 hours for a leisurely visit. It provides views of Glenwood Springs and the Roaring Fork Valley. Parking is available on Bennett Avenue along 12th Street, with restrooms at the trailhead. The trail is open year-round, though fall is a popular time to visit. Dogs are permitted on leashes.
