Dr. Rockzo is a rock climbing spot located on Grand Mesa in Western Colorado, near Grand Junction. The site sits at an elevation of approximately 10,300 feet within the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests. The climbing is classified as moderate difficulty, featuring traditional (trad) routes on hard volcanic basalt. A specific route at the site is 45 feet long and involves climbing a wavy open wall (OW) and stemming up a right-facing corner. The rock quality is generally good, though the basalt is highly fractured, with occasional thick flow events creating steeper walls. Parking is available on site, and the area is pet friendly. Climbers can access Dr. Rockzo year-round, with routes being accessible from January to December. The area is reached by driving east on I-70 to Exit 49 and south on CO Highway 65, or via US Highway 50 to Kannah Creek Road. The first ascent was recorded in June 2012.
