About

Flying Hog is a 0.4-mile one-way machine-built jump line located in Rifle, Colorado, designed specifically for practicing air time and bike park-style features. Built in the spring of 2022, the trail consists of large step-ups, step-downs, doubles, and banked turns. It is rated difficult due to the size and technical nature of the features, though riders can bypass or roll elements to match their skill level. The trail serves as a practice ground for larger jumps and is accessible from April through October. Parking is available at the trailhead, and pets are allowed. The route begins with a steep roller into a step-up move, followed by a series of drops and doubles, ending with consecutive doubles and a berm. A separate climb trail, Gully 3, provides access back to the start for lap riding.
