Hail Mary is a two-pitch trad climbing route located in Montrose, Colorado, on the Western Slope. The climb is situated at 5,868 feet elevation and consists of approximately 110 feet of rock. It is identified as the rightmost bolted line on its wall. The route features challenging slab moves leading to a bulge crux located just below the anchors. All primary cruxes on this route are equipped with bolts, though climbers may carry a small rack of cams ranging from size 0.4 to 2 if they prefer protection against runouts on the easier slab sections. A 70-meter rope is required for the ascent. Access to Hail Mary requires navigating private property. The recommended approach begins at Clyde Campground parking, avoiding the hairpin turn which crosses private land directly. Climbers should consult a map to ensure they park before Clyde Campground to respect the private property alert. The area is open for climbing year-round, with activity reported from January through December. Practical amenities include available parking on-site and a pet-friendly environment. The moderate difficulty of the route makes it suitable for climbers with some experience who seek a challenge without exceeding their abilities. First ascent was recorded by Kyle Okular and Emily Buck in April 2025, and the route is named after the Tupac song.
