Harvest Moon is a rock climbing destination in Grand Junction, Colorado, situated on the Western Slope at an elevation of 5,295 feet. The site is classified as difficult and typically requires about five hours to complete. It offers parking for visitors and allows pets. The area is accessible year-round, with activity occurring from January through December. Grand Junction serves as a hub for climbing resources, featuring indoor facilities like the 12,000-square-foot Grand Valley Climbing Gym and Grip Bouldering. These gyms provide bouldering, lead climbing, auto belay, and top rope options on walls up to 50 feet high. Training equipment includes Moon Boards, Kilter Boards, and Woods Boards. Local guidebooks such as 'Grand Junction Rock' by K.C. Baum and 'Desert Rock' by Eric Bjornstad document routes in Unaweep Canyon and adjacent areas.
