About
The Liberty Bell Sheridan Crosscut Loop is a 6.5-mile difficult hike in Telluride, Colorado. The route combines the Jud Wiebe Memorial Trail, Liberty Bell Trail, Sheridan Crosscut Trail, and Imogene Pass Road. Hikers begin at the end of North Oak Street on Tomboy Road, turning left onto the Jud Wiebe Trail. The trail climbs through aspen forest to Liberty Bell Flats before ascending to the loop's top. The descent follows the Sheridan Crosscut Trail, offering views of Telluride and Bridal Veil Falls, then connects to the rocky 4x4 Imogene Pass Road. A right turn onto the road leads back to the start via Tomboy Road. The loop is approximately 6.5 miles with significant elevation change. Sources recommend hiking clockwise for better views during the descent. Parking is available at the trailhead.
