Little Salt Wash Trail

The Little Salt Wash Trail is a moderate hiking route that spans a distance of approximately 4.5 miles, with an elevation gain of around 500 feet. Hikers can expect a mix of smooth singletrack and rocky sections, with the trail taking them through a scenic desert landscape of piñon pine and juniper trees. From September through November, the trail conditions are generally dry and mild, making it an ideal time to visit, with fall colors adding to the scenery. Visitors can access the trail from the parking area, which also offers restrooms and is pet-friendly, allowing hikers to bring their dogs along.
