About
The No Name Trailhead, also known as the Jessie Weaver Trailhead, provides access to a moderate 7.2-mile out-and-back route in Glenwood Canyon. Located at Exit 119 off I-70, the trail follows No Name Creek north through a well-defined corridor. Hikers encounter frequent creek crossings and waterfall views along the path. The trail is open to dogs, horses, and climbers. While summer usage can be heavy with limited parking at the trailhead itself, the adjacent No Name Rest Area offers restrooms and water when space is full. The route runs year-round, supported by a diversion from Grizzly Creek. Fall hiking occurs between September and November, typically taking about two hours for shorter segments or up to five hours for the full distance. The area has experienced past wildfires, so post-fire flood risk remains a consideration, though the trail is currently open. The first half-mile features granite cliffs suitable for traditional climbing.
