Purple Power is a sport climbing area located near Telluride on the Western Slope of Colorado. The site sits at an elevation of 9,314 feet and features routes that are generally classified as difficult. The primary route is a 50-foot (15-meter) sport climb characterized by slopey and tricky terrain. It was bolted by Patricio Vyhmeister in 2011, with the first free ascent completed by Leslie Long that same year. The route utilizes seven bolts for protection. Parking is available at the site, and it permits pets. Climbers should expect challenging conditions consistent with its difficult rating.
