Redstone Campground sits on a ridge above the Crystal River in the White River National Forest, near Carbondale, Colorado. The site is located at approximately 7,800 feet elevation. It offers 35 to 37 campsites suitable for tents, trailers, and RVs. The campground is pet-friendly and allows fires. Facilities include drinking water, hot showers, and flush toilets. Water hook-ups are available at sites 1 through 19. Sites 21 through 38 access water from hydrants. Each campsite includes a picnic table, lantern post, fire ring, and grill. Additional amenities include a playground, basketball court, horseshoe pits, and a picnic shelter. Firewood is available for purchase from the camp host. Cell service is generally unavailable. The campground operates seasonally, typically from May through September. It is considered a moderate difficulty access point with paved roads leading to the sites.
