Road Warrior is a sport climbing area located in the Silverton region of the Western Slope, specifically within the High Wire crag. The primary route, Road Warrior, is an 85-foot (26 m) multi-pitch climb rated 5.12d. First ascended by Alan Nelson in 1998, the route begins on a ledge rather than the ground. Climbers start at the left of two double-bolt belay anchors on a ledge that splits the lower level of the sector known as The Queen City Slab area. The climb involves technical slab climbing, a tricky corner system, and a vertical face with poor hands and feet. A key feature is a technical traverse right that leads into the 5.12d section, though beta suggests moving straight up into the overlaps can simplify the ascent. The route is accessible year-round and allows pets. Parking is available at the site.
