About

Rocksteady is a sport climbing route located in the Pipeline Wall area of Telluride, Colorado. The route features 8 bolts leading to chains and measures approximately 85 feet (26 meters) in length. It is graded 5.10+ on the Yosemite Decimal System. The rock consists of Telluride conglomerate, described as solid for climbing. Access is currently open with restrictions due to private property ownership by the Idarado Mine, which maintains the access road. The route is situated in the middle of the Pipeline Wall, specifically the 15th route from parking, located just past small falls that cross the trail. Parking is available at the site. Pets are permitted. The climb is considered difficult, with specific technical features including a crux at the first bolt where draws may interfere with leg movement. Further up, around 70 feet, there is a small ledge and roof featuring layback sections on slopers. The route is accessible year-round.
