Situated at 5,717 feet, the site offers 79 campsites divided into three loops (A, B, and C) that accommodate tents and RVs. The campground is pet-friendly and allows vehicles up to 40 feet in length. Facilities include flush toilets, water availability during the summer, picnic tables, and charcoal-only grills at each site. There are no electric hookups, fill stations, dump stations, or showers. Reservations are required for all sites and must be made online at recreation.gov or by phone; same-day sites open at 8 a.m. Mountain Time. Loop A typically operates from early April through October, Loop B is open year-round, and Loop C generally runs from early May to mid-October, with specific site availability varying by reservation window. The campground is closed to roadside camping and pullouts.
