Snowstorm Arete is an 80-foot sport climbing route situated on the Western Slope near Durango, Colorado. The route ascends an obvious arete, specifically climbing the right side of the ridge just before an alcove. It features nine bolts and presents a technical challenge centered on a distinct crux move leading to a roof. Climbers must turn the roof using big holds before continuing on easy but runout climbing to the anchor. The route was first ascended by Allen Riling. Accessible year-round, the site offers parking at the base and allows pets. The elevation is 7,280 feet.
