Spinefish, also known as NoName 7, is a rock climbing destination located near Glenwood Springs on the Colorado Western Slope. The site sits at an elevation of 7,202 feet and is classified as difficult. It is part of the Puoux climbing area on the Defiance Cave Preserve, which requires climbers to download and submit a waiver to property manager Ken Headrick before accessing the routes. The climb features tight bolting spaced every four feet, making it suitable for beginners attempting their first lead. The route includes a short initial section with hard climbing near the ground and a second low-angle slab pitch of approximately 25 feet. Access is available year-round, though parking can be challenging on busy summer days along the No Name Trail. The area is pet-friendly and offers convenient parking for visitors.
