Tellerico Trailhead is located in the Little Book Cliffs Wild Horse Range, north of Grand Junction on 25 Road. The trail begins in the valley floor and ascends to Corcoran Point, offering views of the surrounding cliffs. The route is approximately 5.5 miles out-and-back with an elevation gain of about 1,814 feet to roughly 7,200 feet. While some sources list the difficulty as moderate or strenuous depending on the section chosen, the trail generally takes between two and three hours to complete. Parking is available near the mouth of the canyon, accessible by passenger cars past a Texaco well site. Restrooms are present at the trailhead. The area is open year-round, with fall hiking being a common activity from September through November. Dogs are permitted on the trail.
