The 19th Hole is a rock climbing area located on the Palisade Rim Trail in Palisade, Colorado. The primary feature is a scruffy, impressive mini-spire composed of shale. The climb is classified as easy trad climbing. The route is approximately 30 feet (9 meters) tall and was first ascended by Paul Ross in December 2011. Access requires a short approach; the spire is located about five minutes up the Palisade Rim Trail from the road, roughly 2 miles east of Palisade on the old road toward the I-70 junction. Parking is available at the trailhead. The area is pet-friendly. Protection consists of bolts on the top block and trad gear, with sufficient coverage for the climb.
