The Fox Elmo Route is a sport climbing route located near Durango, Colorado, on the western slope. The route ascends the low-angle south ridge of the Kinderspiel formation, standing at an elevation of 6,850 feet. It is classified as easy and spans approximately 40 feet (12 meters). Climbers begin at the lowest point of the south ridge, starting either directly off the trail or five feet to the right. The route features four bolts for protection, with Mussy hooks available near the top. A crux move occurs at roughly three-quarters of the way up, marking it as a classic line on this crag. Parking is available at the site, and pets are permitted. The area is accessible year-round.
