About

The Harvey is a 55-foot sport climbing route located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. It is situated on the 'Puoux' limestone crag, specifically on private property within the Defiance Cave Preserve. The route begins from the belay platform at the base of the 'Traditional Values' and 'Stay True' routes, heading up and right toward a hole capped by a small roof. Climbers step right to pass the roof and continue on a slabby face characterized by sharp, textured rock. The crux is located at the last bolt before the anchor on the upper face. The route is rated as easy and is suitable for year-round climbing. Access requires a waiver; climbers must download, complete, and submit a form to property manager Ken Headrick via email. Parking is available on site, and pets are permitted.
